Description
The Behncke QWT 100 20kW heat exchanger is a modern, sophisticated, and incredibly energy-efficient heat exchanger, a fantastic way to heat your pool. A heat exchanger works, by water passing through pipes next to a source of heat, the water then carries the heat with it.
This heat exchanger can be attached to your central heating system so no need for a separate boiler or alternatively can be used with a boiler or heat pump. The coil heat exchanger consists of a stainless-steel outer casing with a welded-in stainless-steel tube coil, complete with an immersion sleeve to accommodate an electronic temperature sensor. Its stainless steel construction ensures a long service life because it is immune to calcification. The flow temperature can reach 90°C.
The Behncke QWT 100 heat exchanger is a sophisticated system component that is ideal for connection to high-temperature energy sources. The smart design uses the counterflow principle, in which hot and cold water are conducted past one another in banks of bare tubes without making contact, achieving high efficiency. These specially fabricated banks of bare
tubes achieve a constant and almost loss-free working pressure. This is one of the reasons why this heat exchanger is very efficient.
The QWT 100 series of heat exchangers are extremely flexible for application, giving some of the best results for retrofitting. This is due to the models’ small overall dimensions.
