Leak Dye Tester – Yellow

Description

A convenient syringe-style leak dye tester in fluorescent yellow, pre-filled with a special concentrated dye that holds together underwater. Comes with a 6-inch plastic “needle” allowing for precise dye placement location of structural pools. The long plastic “needle” allows for dye placement without creating unwanted currents.

• Identify the precise location of structural pool leaks
• Identify water movement into or out of pipes
• This leak dye tester can be re-filled with leak locating dye available in 8 oz. bottles

Directions for use:

1. Hold the tester by the barrel with the plunger down.
2. Remove Cap.
3. Insert the pointed end of the plastic needle about 1/4 inch into the hole.
4. Turn off the circulatory system of the pool(s).
5. Apply a small ribbon of dye within the 1/4 inch of suspected leak areas, fittings, light niches, cracks, etc.
6. The dye will be drawn out of the pool where there is a leak.
