Brochure & installation guide
The brochure illustrates an earlier range. Product choices and dimensions below follow the supplied 2026 catalogue. Confirm the current documents for your selected configuration.
1. Built for masonry pools
Rollin is a made-to-measure in-ground automatic slatted pool cover, particularly suited to masonry pools and new pool construction. The reel is concealed beneath decking, while the motor sits outside the pool in a separate dry pit for easier maintenance.
For larger pool projects
The 2026 range starts at 2m × 3m and includes configurations up to 9m × 18.5m or 10m × 16.5m. Width and length limits depend on the specified system.
Minimum cover width: 2.5m for PVC 84, or 2m for PVC 69 and the polycarbonate ranges, for the manufacturer’s stated NF P90-308 configuration.
Plan the dry motor pit
The separate dry pit keeps the motor accessible for servicing and repairs. Its position, access, drainage, wall penetrations and electrical routing need to be agreed during the pool design.
2. Motor access and operation
120, 250 or 500Nm motor
- The electric motor is installed in a dry pit outside the pool.
- Motor power is selected to suit the pool dimensions.
- The 120 and 250Nm versions use mechanical end stops adjusted at the motor.
- The 500Nm version uses an internal sensor and electronic counting in the control box.
Wall units & winding tube
- Standard wall units suit wall thicknesses of 20–26cm; other thicknesses are available on request.
- Pools wider than 8m require a Ø45mm shaft.
- The winding tube is 20-micron anodised aluminium.
- Pool structure, shaft alignment and the wall-unit specification must be agreed before manufacture.
Choose your control
The catalogue lists a key switch, an insert-mounted key switch for indoor use, Wi-Key and optional LivePool Cover smartphone control. Confirm which control devices are included.
Operate the cover from a position where you can see the entire pool.
Control-box functions
- Anti-blocking protection stops opening when abnormal force is detected, including when safety fastenings have not been released.
- Connections for multiple control devices and a generously sized enclosure for wiring and diagnostics.
- Stop/Go Flow pauses filtration while the cover moves to reduce disturbance from water circulation.
- Stop Salt signals the open/closed state to a compatible salt chlorinator so treatment can be adjusted.
- Compatible Stop Salt and Stop Flow connections can be configured for other equipment, such as lighting.
Electronic end-stop version
Diagnostic display, independent opening/closing end-stop adjustment and the improved anti-blocking function active during both opening and closing.
Mechanical end-stop versions
A robust electromechanical control box with serviceable spare parts and resettable electrical protection.
Pushlock Automatic requires an additional control box. Confirm the selected motor, matching controls, treatment compatibility and supplied equipment in your quotation.
3. Choose the slats and colour
Compare the four families below. The original manufacturer visual shows each finish and every listed colour, rather than replacing the range with approximate colour chips.

Opaque polycarbonate
Left to right: Nordic white · Anthracite grey
A solid-colour polycarbonate finish. Two colours are listed for Rollin.

Solar polycarbonate
Left to right: Absolute black · Crystal black · Silver · Crystal · Crystal brown · Crystal blue · Crystal green
Seven colours are listed. These are solar slats, a separate choice from the electrically powered motor.

Opaque PVC 84
Left to right: White · Grey
Two colours. Minimum cover width 2.5m. Confirm the permitted width for the selected slat specification.

Opaque PVC 69
Left to right: Grey · White · Beige · Blue
Four colours. Blue PVC 69 has a separate manufacturing lead-time note, detailed below.
Photographs show finish families on example installations. Screen colours vary; confirm the finish using current samples. The suitability of the slats and their dimensions must be checked for the chosen configuration.
4. Choose automatic or manual locking
Pushlock Automatic

Locks and releases automatically as the cover operates. An additional control box is required.
Finish: White, light grey, dark grey or black.
For suitable rectangular layouts, with corner radii up to 50cm and no external steps. Confirm the complete configuration.
Pushlock

A manually secured fastening for the closed cover.
Finish: White, beige, blue, light grey, dark grey or argile green.
Choose the fixing arrangement to suit the pool edge.
Quicklock

Manual locking operated with the dedicated Quicklock tool.
Finish: White, beige or grey.
Not available with PVC 84 slats. Confirm whether the tool is included.
Strap locking

Manually secured straps, with fixing kits listed for concrete or wooden coping.
Finish: Confirm the strap and fixing specification.
Not available with PVC 84 slats.

The four installed-kit photographs show surface-mounted versions. The separate mounting diagrams show surface, insert, hanging and high-hanging Pushlock arrangements. The number and positions of fastenings depend on the pool dimensions and approved layout.
Before opening: release manual fastenings. After closing: secure the cover according to the supplied instructions. Correct specification, installation and use are essential for safety performance. Never walk on the slatted cover.
The options list also includes a Quicklock tool, plus Straplock kits for concrete or wooden coping. Quicklock, its tool and Straplock are listed for solar polycarbonate, opaque polycarbonate and PVC 69 slats; they are not offered with PVC 84.
5. Extra support for wider pools
Telescopic support · up to 8m width
- Required for 100 × 100mm beams spanning more than 5.05m.
- Available for pits up to 1.35m, with optional reinforcement for heavy use.
- Wall-hanging fixing, high-strength bracket, reach adjustment and beam support.
- Three height positions, slope adjustment, spacer gap and a plastic-coated wall stopper.
- Double rollers help prevent the cover rubbing against the support.
Middle support · 8–10m pool width

Used to combine two beams across wider pools, with a pit dimension up to 1.35m. The structural design determines the beam and support arrangement.
For commercial use, frequent use or heavier loads, request a technical assessment of the required number of supports.
6. Choose the decking finish
IPE wood decking

- Smooth-finished Class IV IPE timber, described by DEL as naturally rot-resistant.
- Slats: 140mm wide and 20mm thick.
- Listed weight: 22kg for a 1m × 0.9m element.
- Natural colour and appearance change over time.
- Indoor-pool decking must be reinforced at the factory to limit natural warping where ventilation is reduced.
- Maximum decking dimension: 1.4m.
- Manufacturer-reported slip rating: R11. Confirm the current specification for the selected finish.
Aluminium decking

- White, beige or grey.
- Elements slot together.
- Delivered assembled and reversible, so either face can be visible.
- Side 1 alternates flat and ridged sections; side 2 is fully ridged.
- Maximum decking dimension: 1.4m.
A special manufacturing lead time may apply. Confirm timing for the specified finish.
Decking sizes & cut-to-size planning
| Material | Dimension bands shown | Standard elements / notes |
|---|---|---|
| IPE wood | Below 75cm; 75cm; 75–89cm; 90cm; 91–115cm; 116–140cm | 75cm and 90cm are marked standard. Cut-to-size service is listed. Indoor versions require factory reinforcement and a special lead time. |
| Aluminium | Below 75cm; 75cm; 75–89cm; 90cm; 91–140cm | 75cm and 90cm are marked standard. Cut-to-size service is listed; special manufacturing lead time may apply. |
The catalogue gives these planning examples for both materials: 3.5m pool width = four 1m elements cut to fit; 4.8m width = five 1m elements cut to fit. The complete-system tables use a 1m × 0.9m decking reference element.
Ask for the matching decking-care instructions. A decking lifter is listed as a handling aid.
Aluminium decking has a manufacturer-reported R9 slip rating on both faces; IPE is listed as R11. Your installer should confirm the suitability of the selected surface.

7. Pools with steps or shaped ends
Send a dimensioned plan showing the steps and pool outline. The catalogue lists step-unit slats across the four slat families, with the following shape bands:
View step shapes, sizes and cut-out options
| Step shape | Dimensions listed |
|---|---|
| Roman steps | Diameter up to 3m; diameter 3–4m |
| Trapezoid steps | Base up to 3m; base 3–4m |
| Square steps | Base up to 1.5m; base 1.5–2.5m |
Slat cut-outs and overflow guides for width and length kits are also listed. Confirm the final shape, guides and safety configuration before ordering. Pushlock Automatic has its own shape restrictions, so the availability of step slats does not mean every locking system suits every step layout.
