Description
DEL Rollinside in-ground automatic pool cover
Choose a concealed enclosure, motor and finish to fit your pool design.

Brochure & installation guide
The brochure shows an earlier range. Options below follow the 2026 catalogue. The installation guide applies to the dry-pit motor version; request the matching guide for a tubular system.
1. Choose the concealed layout
Rollinside stores the slats below the water, under finishing panels. The enclosure can be designed into a step, bench or pool-floor arrangement, subject to the proposed structure.
One-sided enclosure
A horizontal top covering conceals the reel. DEL lists this version for pools up to 10m wide, with the final length and installation depth checked for the chosen motor.
Offers the widest choice of finishing panels, including suitable ceramic stoneware and aluminium panels to be tiled.
Two-sided enclosure
Horizontal and vertical panels conceal the reel as a submerged bench-style enclosure. DEL lists this version for pools up to 6m wide.
The floor and enclosure geometry must suit the design. Finishes and supports differ from the one-sided version.

2. Select the enclosure finish
These panels hide the reel. They are separate from the floating slats that cover the water.
Factory-covered panels
A factory-applied membrane finish can coordinate with the pool lining. Listed for one- and two-sided layouts, subject to dimensions and support design.
Ceramic stoneware · one-sided only
20mm ceramic panels with a choice of eight finishes: beige, light grey, granito, travertin, anthracite, polished concrete, wood and black.
PVC panels to be covered
Solid PVC panels for your installer to finish with a compatible on-site lining. The final surface and slip resistance need to be specified.
Aluminium panels to be tiled · one-sided only
A supporting panel for a suitable tile finish. Tile choice, weight and slip resistance must be checked for the design.
Grooved PVC panels
A simpler finish in white, beige or grey. Standard and permitted custom sizes depend on the enclosure geometry.
Check the finished surface. Panel size, support spacing, material weight and slip resistance affect suitability. A finish available for one layout is not automatically suitable for another.
3. Choose the electric motor
Tubular motor
The motor sits inside the winding tube. Wall fixings, cable routing and service access must be planned for the pool structure.
Dry-pit motor
The motor is outside the pool in a separate dry chamber, with the shaft passing through the pool wall. The chamber, wall thickness and access need to be designed in.
The 2026 range lists 120, 250, 500 and 750Nm motor options. Selection depends on pool width, length and reel depth. The correct motor and tube should be specified from the project details.
4. Slat ranges & colours
Four ranges are listed for Rollinside. Choose the appearance you prefer; we can discuss suitability before you order.

Opaque polycarbonate
A solid-colour finish in Nordic white or anthracite grey.

Solar polycarbonate
Designed to capture solar energy and help warm the pool.

Also available: Absolute black. Ask for a sample of your preferred finish.

Opaque PVC 84
A flatter profile with black joints and end caps. Pushlock locking kits only.

Opaque PVC 69
The traditional PVC slat profile, in four colours.

Manufacturer swatches © DEL / CF Group. The four PVC 69 and six illustrated solar polycarbonate finishes are shown above. Opaque polycarbonate is available in Nordic white or anthracite grey; PVC 84 is available in white or grey. Screen colours are indicative. Confirm your finish, sample and permitted pool dimensions before ordering.
5. Pushlock safety fastenings
The Rollinside section specifies Pushlock locking kits. The mount, number and position must suit the slats and pool structure.

Six colours are listed: white, beige, blue, light grey, dark grey and argile green.
Choose the correct mounting
Insert, surface, hanging and high-hanging mounts are listed. The final installation plan determines which arrangement is appropriate and how many kits are required.
Release the fastenings before opening and secure them after closing, following the supplied instructions.
Safety: NF P90-308 performance requires a suitable configuration, correct installation and the specified fastenings being locked. Never walk on the slatted cover. It never replaces responsible adult supervision.
6. Controls & pool equipment
Opening & closing
Key-switch and Wi-Key control are listed, with optional LivePool Cover control. DEL also lists an inset key switch for indoor use. Keep the pool in view during operation.
Filtration & treatment
Compatible Stop/Go Flow and Stop Salt connections can coordinate filtration and salt-chlorinator output with cover operation. Anti-blocking functions depend on the specified motor and control box. Confirm compatibility and included equipment.

7. Request a DEL Rollinside quote
Send your pool length, width and depth, postcode and plans or photographs. Tell us whether the pool is new or existing, the pool structure, and where you would like the enclosure.
Include steps, corners, an infinity edge, lining or tiles, existing treatment equipment and preferred finishes. Ask the quotation to confirm the mechanism, slats, beams, finishing panels, Pushlock kits, controls, delivery and installation scope.
Pool preparation & measuring
Discuss Rollinside before the pool structure and waterproofing are finalised. DEL recommends preparing the wall fixings first, then ordering the full system to match that preparation. Retrofitting an existing pool needs a feasibility assessment.
For an initial enquiry, approximate dimensions and photographs are useful. Manufacture requires a confirmed drawing; DEL literature calls for measurements at one-metre intervals. Reel depth, chamber dimensions, wall thickness, finish and maintenance access affect the design.
The manufacturer’s selector distinguishes concrete, thin liner panels, watertight shells and EPS blocks, as well as surface-mounted and wall-crossing options. These are installation-design choices, rather than interchangeable DIY fixings.
Finish compatibility & special pool layouts
Ceramic stoneware and aluminium panels to be tiled are listed for one-sided enclosures only. Factory-covered, installer-covered PVC and grooved PVC choices depend on the enclosure dimensions and support arrangement. Confirm any non-standard panel span or weight with the specification.
Overflow pools, removable side-step sections and existing immersion alarms require specific assessment. Do not assume that a normal cover layout or safety declaration applies to an unusual pool.
Manufacturer warranty & care
The Rollinside brochure states two years for the reel, five years for a tubular motor and three years for a dry-pit motor. It lists three years for opaque PVC slats and five years for solar polycarbonate slats. Ask for the conditions applying to the quoted opaque polycarbonate, panels and accessories.
Manufacturer warranties have exclusions; for example, DEL’s polycarbonate slat warranty excludes bromine-treated pools. Confirm treatment compatibility and any removal/refitting costs before ordering.
Clear debris from the slats, inspect fastenings, keep the correct water level and maintain access to the mechanism. Follow the version-specific cleaning, motor servicing and wintering instructions. Panel surfaces need suitable cleaning to maintain grip.
DEL Rollinside pool cover FAQs
What is the difference between Rollinside and an above-ground cover?
Rollinside stores the reel below the water in a purpose-designed enclosure. A poolside cover such as Tixit or Contura has its reel above ground. Rollinside therefore needs more structural planning.
What do one-sided and two-sided mean?
One-sided refers to the horizontal covering over the mechanism. Two-sided adds a vertical face to create a submerged bench-style enclosure. They are different installation layouts, not two separate covers.
Can Rollinside be installed in an existing pool?
It may be possible, but the structure, available space, enclosure geometry, cable route and service access must be assessed. Send plans and photographs before deciding on a configuration.
Does it need a solar-powered motor?
No. Rollinside uses an electric tubular or dry-pit motor. Solar polycarbonate slats are a separate finish option designed to help warm the water.
Can I tile the enclosure?
A suitable aluminium panel to be tiled is listed for one-sided layouts. Tile specification, weight, slip resistance and supports require approval for the proposed design.
How much does a Rollinside cover cost?
It is quoted to specification. Layout, pool dimensions and depth, motor, fixings, slats, beams, panels, controls and installation requirements affect the final price. Request a complete project quotation.
Product information is based on DEL / CF Group documentation and the 2026 Rollinside catalogue. Manufacturer photographs illustrate examples, not Blue Cube installations. Your quotation should confirm the exact version and current specification.
